WHO: Fleet Feet St. Louis
WHEN: Thanksgiving morning, November 22, 2018.
WHY: Thanksgiving is a favorite holiday among many. It’s one of the few days of the year when friends and family get to spend time together and reflect on all that they are thankful for. This year throughout four different locations and thousands of runners, Fleet Feet raised over $15,000 and 12,000 pounds of food for local food pantries. Turkey Trots give families and friends the chance to start their Thanksgiving morning together by exercising and making a difference for many in the St. Louis community that don’t have the means to celebrate Thanksgiving with their loved ones.
WHAT: A family-friendly race that brings individuals from all over the St. Louis area together to run, dance, eat pancakes and support their community.
HOW WE HELPED: Energy, energy, energy! Turkey Trots bring thousands of people together to run a 5k. Utopia is there for the after-race, dance party! We kept the party going in St. Charles, Kiener Plaza, and Six Flags for over an hour after the race had ended. We helped facilitate awards and announcements and had photobooths at all three locations. But most importantly we helped engage the crowd through dancing and music and we are so thankful to have been a part of something much bigger than ourselves.
“Owners are great to work with. Added a lot to the pre and post-race experience and atmosphere of our event. Would recommend to anyone who is looking for help with creating an atmosphere at their events!”
-Jules Vogel, Fleet Feet
FINAL WORDS: Fleet Feet is such an incredible partner, and we are thrilled that we continue to be a part of so many of their races. The crowds are always such a blast to be around. It’s so heartwarming to be given the opportunity to do what we do and to support our community. We’re lucky to work with people that have the same drive as we do to make St. Louis a more fun, safe and happy place to live.
The Emcee of emcees is driven by connecting people and creating a space where people of all ages can celebrate together. Kerry played both high school and college football, but his passion is entertainment and connecting people.
Our Lead DJ, Roe White, has been with Utopia for 14 years. Roe is also an owner of Utopia. The fate of the company lies largely in Roe’s hands as he cultivates and trains new talent.
